Grade Structure

An integrated curriculum, co-operative learning situations, ‘hands-on’ activities and multi-age groups are features of the school.

Multi-age classrooms are based on careful planning which reflect the Victorian Essential Learning Standards and offer a sequential, open ended, stimulating curriculum. This is achieved through flexible groupings and a co-operative approach to learning. Children are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills, experience success, and be role models for their peers, as they learn from each other and develop effective communication skills.

Our classrooms:
This year we have four Prep classes; six grades 1/2 (our Junior classrooms); five grades 3/4 (our Middle unit); and five grades 5/6 (our Senior unit).
Our Specialist Programs:
For 3 hours each week our students study Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Sport, P.E. and French with specialist teachers.
