After 22 years of being an entirely relocatable complex (except for the school council funded Science Room) we are now enjoying completely redeveloped facilities of the permanent structure – A Multi-Purpose room of some 200 square metres (in demand for hire by outside bodies), Administration Block, Canteen, 3 classrooms, Staff Room and internal toilets. It is an excellent building and a credit to the many school councillors, parents and staff who, over the years have battled hard to obtain facilities worthy of our beautiful site.
Stage Two – 2 classrooms, toilets, art room, library and computer laboratory was completed in mid 2002.
Stage Three - Our School Council President, Michael Durack, was been tireless in his efforts to negotiate the ‘best deal’ and Stage three is now complete. This stage consists of 4 more permanent classrooms on our upper level and a relocatable complex centred around the existing Science Room and Junior Playground, two new basketball courts were installed as the final component of the Stage 3 building program.
So in November 2003 the school community celebrated the ‘new’ school – the result of fantastic community support in raising co-operative loans and other fund raising ventures, together with the Department of Education’s very welcome grants!
